![]() ![]() ![]() Smash skeletons, defeat dragons, and battle giant golems in Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure. What happens instead is that the game sends out an API call to Steams remote storage when a game is started (as long as the feature is enabled in the properties page of the Steam library game) with the goal of comparing, and refreshing your local save files if it finds that those in the cloud are better (that's why if you play across multiple machines, you may receive a message asking if you want to download the Cloud saves or keep the local ones due to a mismatch).Īnd in turn when you quit a game, you may find that the "play" button is not available until after the game has made a new API call to Steam, in order to upload the files there (if you have a lot to upload, it can take longer, as you may find to be the case with some games that have very large save files).Play Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, then wishlist its full-size follow-up Tiny Tina's Wonderlands! So its not GBX themselves that programs/develops the capability/feature (and hosts the files for you). In addition to this, I believe the Tiny Tina one-shot adventure was delegated to another studio (their logo shows up on startup), likely meaning that GBX themselves spent very little time with it.įinally, I have a feeling the cloud saves option is a capability within Steam itself that developers simply switch on or off if they want to allow its use for a game. ![]() You can also open tickets to report issues, if you have them. If I look at my remotestorageapp page for Steam, I see 15 files inside (stored in the cloud by Steam) and they correspond with the files in my Documents folder.Īlso, if you want to complain, go to the GBX forums, I doubt the devs browse these forums. However I believe you're wrong about the Steam version. I'm guessing the EGS version doesn't have cloud saves? I have the game there, but tbh, I have not checked and I rarely play on EGS. So, i got the game when it was free on Epic games, i made an Epic account for the sole purpose tto get the standalone DLC, so far so good, here comes the problem, i had to reinstall windows because my hard drive died and i had a spare one for the time being, and i lost ALL my save files for this game, if Borderlands 1, 2, 3 and even the Pre-Sequel has cloud save feature, then how does a 8 years old DLC that has ALREADY CAME OUT MIND YOU! doesn't have cloud save?! are you serious Gearbox?! how can you be so incompetent to turn on cloud save for an almost decade old DLC?! if no name indie game studios can do it, how can a billion dollar company NOT do it?! and as far as i know, not even the steam version of this game has cloud save! im glad i didn't paid for this, because i would be 10x more pissed off if i did, i spent a full 100 hours trying to max out every character there, only to start it all over again, ♥♥♥♥ you Gearbox, from the bottom of my heart, ♥♥♥♥ you GeraboxĮdit: If anyone is trying to send friend request, you're immediatelly blocked, i dont care if you intentions are good, i do not want to deal with this ♥♥♥♥ any longer than i have to, and quite frankly, i dont want my profile to be spammed with stupid game invites and stuffs, so again, ♥♥♥♥ you gearbox, and ♥♥♥♥ you for not having cloud save ![]()
